	Kagyu Monlam is being held in Bodhgaya, India since 1983 and started by His Eminence Kalu Rinpoche based on his perception that the world is approaching a period of degradation. In the early 21th century Kagyu Monlam starting to held routine every year in various countries such as Nepal, Eastern Tibet, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Taiwan, and in Indonesia. Kagyu Monlam is been conduct every year in Bodhgaya, India until now.
